Rome Film Festival 2010: Home of Philip Bajjaly

Home is the new film from director Philip Bajjaly to be presented at the Rome Film Festival 2010.
More than a film is a documentary shot Ross in the emergency program funded by the Foreign Ministry in Beirut, Lebanon.
The events described in this documentary speaks of some mental illnesses do not treat them in terms of medicine and psychiatry but from a different point of view.
Many brain diseases often affect inevitably our attention is often not the case but for those who remain close, with admirable dedication and love to those who have nothing oermai.
Mental ill health are often mistreated in the Muslim world. Of course the sufferer is assisted by special structures, but is still considered inappropriate to have a useful role in Islamic society.
Even more frequently, then a child with mental illness is considered by most people as a real tragedy for the family. Beirut and Lebanon of course no exception to this odious rule.
Home of Philip Bajjaly clearly wants to send a constructive message and lay the groundwork for a change in society, at least in the approach to mental illness.
The first home will be screened at UNESCO headquarters in Beirut and the film will be present, as well as the Rome Film Festival 2010 including the Human Rights Nights Film Festival Bologna.
