The social network – Facebook Film

Filming of:
Billionaire by accident: The creation of Facebook – a story about sex, money, friendship and fraud by Ben Mezrich.

I just came from the film about the development of Facebook. A film for fans, a faster film full of terms from the computer language – far too often unintelligible. – But authentic and fit the moment: no one really understand how it works and yet we like and use the effects.

Debei I should preface that I now am in my mid-fifties and not even use Facebook – but I am fascinated by how the whole world meets here, linked and fully leaves it.
Go to Story

The movie plays at Harvard. Zuckerberg, a somewhat eccentric guy is sitting right at the start SDES film with the girlfriend in the restaurant, there is a dispute and she leaves him. He is enraged at home, sits down at the laptop and blogging his anger and disappointment into the net … including private Datails, it can be made about the small breasts of his ex ….

And his momentary anger generalized to “the women” by comparing them with animals and a ranking of the students in the network is: which is hotter than the others … ..

This game comes from that great, that on the night of the campus – server breaks down. The Uni-line is outraged and runs a single process but admire his fellow students Zuckerberg, he becomes a hero.
Another student group is planning at the same time a Harvard-platform on the Internet. You want to come mainly girls and create an online platform for the data. They advertise Zuckerberg for their projects and giving them this platform to provide online.

The looks at the place is really great and it develops its own thing from it: thefacebook.com
Once again, he then many against himself: he is accused of plagiarism and soon there is a lawsuit against him.

And this is the jacket of this film: we see the process of rights on Facebook and see the development of the giant company in the flashback. Mark is increasingly lonely …. But he does all this because his social skills do not seem very pronounced. But he has an immense genius to recognize things quickly and implement on the PC ….

We also learn that the inventor of Napster, Sean Parker, was also one of the party. He gives Zuckerberg the necessary entrepreneurial quality to survive in the market.

I also find the performance of Jesse Eisenberg, who plays the Facebook founder, totally impressive. The line between genius and maverick, is also the eternal boy come over so convincingly that it is hard to believe that it’s just an actor.

In the credits, we are told that this Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire. If he is, however, as we meet him in the film, I doubt whether he can enjoy it.

Conclusion: I grabbed the film very much. Although there are no real action scenes, he thrives on the tension of the scene is a one part, almost pathological loner, creating a meeting platform for all people.

What initially appears as a contradiction but is probably just what we experience in daily PC life: one crazy proximity and intimacy that is created, but in reality often can not keep its promises.
We are all to be in danger of Sugar Mountain, when we focus too much on-line events.
And so the film is a parable of the time. I think he’s very good.
